There will always be vets at hand to treat any injuries and illnesses that the animals have. While animlas are in captivtity, they won’t suffer or die from starvation because they recieve a varied and diet with all the vitamins and nutrients they need.
Animals in captivity are great for education purposes. Many children and adults will have never see a wild animal such as a lion or giraffe. Television documentaries are detailed and impressive, but seeing a living creature in the flesh is an incredible experience. It can be amazing to hear, smell and watch animals in zoos or wildlife parks. Zoos educate the public and create an appreciation of the wildlife. Zoos bring people and animals together.
