When wild animals are in captivity, it is perfectly possible for them to have a good quality life. A zoo or wildlife park will provide great care and protection to animals in their care. It is a zookeepers job to feed the animals, clean their environments and report any concerns they have. The animal's movement might be restricted and their habitats may be small, but they will not suffer from the threat or stress of predators. It is said that a tiger in captivity could live up to 26 years, but in the wild they may only survive until 15. A good zoo provides an enriched habitat in which the animals are never bored, are well cared for, and have plenty of space. There will always be vets at hand to treat any injuries and illnesses that the animals have. While animlas are in captivtity, they won’t suffer or die from starvation because they recieve a varied and diet with all the vitamins and nutrients they need.
