Does building a community garden take a lot of time and effort?
Starting a community garden from scratch is a very big job that takes a lot of time, energy and effort. It is important that people work together in a community and share the job, but this doesn't always happen. Some people aren't as interested in gardening as others or don't want to do all the hard work. Growing a food garden also means people have to wait to see the success of their planting, so they need to be patient. To make sure that a community garden is successful and food is grown, it means people have to be commited to this job.
